Dock Patios: Way Too Easy

Do you ever feel the need to get away on your getaway?

You’ve been at your lake house for a few days and can’t look at another board game, but your dock feels too utilitarian to relax on. The good news is your new favorite hangout spot might already be there.

With a small addition, your dock can become a simple lakeside patio, perfect for relaxing, fishing, or just enjoying the view.

You can easily add another dock section or two and create extra space to sit and enjoy the water. Why let all that lake go to waste?

Truss Docks

Check out our DIY Dock Sections to add another section off the side of your dock.

If you prefer to design it from scratch, all you need is one extra end rail for every dock frame added to the side. You can expand to the right or left.

If your dock has aluminum decking, you’ll need additional cork strip tape to reduce noise.

Be sure to support your dock with stationary jack supports or pipe supports every 16 linear feet, including the back corners.

Floating Docks

DIY Dock Sections also make it easy to add complete floating dock kits.

Note: You will need one (1) 4" Bolt Kit (not included in DIY Dock Sections) for each patio section added to the side.

If you need more space, consider adding a Dock Wedge.

Want easier access near your boat lift? A boat lift step can help.

Patriot Docks offers a wide range of docking additions to help you customize your setup.

Shop different dock styles and make installation easier with a complete Dock Section that includes everything you need. These sections are designed for simple additions using rolling supports, stationary supports, or floating drums.
